Learn to swim

learntoswimJan will help you to feel confident in the water, before progressing to learning your chosen stroke or strokes.

As a novice you may have some anxiety about being in the pool and this is not unusual. Jan has lots of experience with non-swimmers and will be able to give you the tools necessary to feel at home in this unfamiliar environment.

It is essential that you take time to get to know and enjoy the water before learning to swim. You’ll find that learning the strokes with Jan comes naturally, once you have learned the fundamentals of walking in the water, breathing out into the water, gliding, landing the feet, and floating on your back.
